Depression Pages Added
May 19th, 2008 by zania
I have been busy doing some research so that I can add some pages about Different Types of Depression to this blog. So far I have made pages on Major Depression and Dysthymia (chronic Depression).
I will be adding more pages on Different Types of Depressive Illnesses over the coming weeks, so, if you look at the links in the sidebar, you will be able to find them all there.
The pages I am working on are my findings on different forms of Depression, plus other mental illnesses. I have written them from a mixture of online reports, books and articles I have read, and my own personal experience of Depression and the way it is diagnosed and treated.
These are my findings. If they help you, or someone you know, to find out more about Depression, then that’s good. However, please do not take them as proven fact.
Do your own research on depressive disorders. Find out more from books, articles, libraries and online resources and, if you are really feeling depressed, then please talk to someone, preferably your doctor.
Depression is a horrible illness, but you can get help for it. That help isn’t always perfect, as I personally have discovered, but it’s a darn sight better than no help at all.
So please, if you read those pages, thinking you or someone you know is suffering from Depression, then please get some help (or advise them to get some help).
Depression can be a big black pit, but there are people out there who will do there very best to help you find a way to climb out of it.
You know it makes sense ![]()
