Welcome to Fraying Edges - Depression Help
May 17th, 2008 by zania
Hi, and welcome to Fraying Edges.
This post is really just to get things up and running, rather than leaving the default post in place. As such, it doesn’t really talk that much about depression, anxiety or feeling bad of any kind - oh, except for the stress of setting up a blog and messing about with all the plugins and themes and what have you so that I can really get my thoughts and findings online.
If you have just arrived here, I am very pleased to see you - especially as this blog has just been set up. In fact, it would be a miracle if Fraying Edges were indexed that quickly, but it would make my day if it was!
Anyway, whenever you arrive here, I am very pleased you have found my little piece of solemnity on the net. It will sometimes be naked and dark, as I do very frequently get depressed. But then I guess that may be why you are here too, so you will understand what I mean, or maybe not… I hope so anyway.
Either way, I just thought it was about time I made a blog which actually dealt with my life and of those who suffer depression, like me, and maybe, just maybe, try to do something to help me and anyone else who suffers from this horrible darkness some times in their lives.
So, I want this blog to be filled with thoughts and research findings and rants about society (because, let’s face it, society can be a big factor in anyone getting depressed) and when things are going well for me, I’ll post here too and tell you why.
But that’s all for now. Hopefully the next post will have something more substantial to say to you, but either way, I wish you well and please come back to see me soon. I cannot promise ‘expert research’, but I should have something for us all to think about. ![]()
